These Professional Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your engagement as an independent beauty professional ("Professional") offering services through the Glam platform. 2.1 You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or partner of Glam.
2.2 You must be at least 18 years old, possess all required licenses, certifications, insurance, and comply with local regulatory requirements.

2.4 Registration must reflect your country of residence or operation to ensure correct currency use and local compliance.
3.1 You agree to provide high-quality, timely, and professional services to clients booked via Glam.
3.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your tools, equipment, and products meet all health, safety, and legal standards.
3.3 All service descriptions, pricing, and portfolio materials you upload must be accurate and authentic.
3.4 Cancellations must be minimized. You agree to notify clients and Glam promptly of any unavoidable cancellations or delays.
4.1 Glam collects payments from clients and remits payouts to you, minus a standard platform commission fee of 25% per service booked.
4.2 For group bookings under categories such as "Buddies," "Family," "Special Events," or similar group arrangements, Glam applies a reduced commission fee of 18% per service.
4.3 This group-based commission incentive is designed to encourage multi-customer bookings and ensures that all services delivered within the same session are fully accounted for and processed through Glam.
4.4 Payouts are processed [weekly/bi-weekly/monthly] to your designated account.
4.5 You are solely responsible for declaring and paying all applicable taxes arising from income earned via Glam.
4.6 Glam may report your income to tax authorities where legally required.

6.1 You will access limited client information solely for the purpose of fulfilling bookings.
6.2 You must protect all personal data and must not use client information for any purpose outside of fulfilling the booked service.
6.3 Compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., Kenya’s Data Protection Act, GDPR, etc.) is mandatory.
7.1 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use Glam branding solely to promote your services via the platform.
7.2 You retain ownership of your uploaded content (photos, videos, listings) but grant Glam a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content for marketing and promotional purposes.
7.3 You shall not copy, reproduce, or misuse Glam's intellectual property without prior written consent.
8.1 You may not solicit Glam clients for private transactions outside the platform for a period of [Insert Period, e.g., 12 months] after your last transaction.

8.5 Any breach of this section may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the Glam platform.
9.1 Glam is a booking platform and does not assume responsibility for the quality or outcome of services rendered.
9.2 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glam from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your provision of services.
9.3 You are fully responsible for ensuring that your services comply with local laws and regulations.
10.1 Glam may suspend, delist, or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice for violations of these Terms or if deemed necessary to protect clients and the platform's integrity.
